This is the high res icon - C:\Program Files\Far Manager\VisualElements\large.png, 100x100 px. Although, looking at your screenshot, you probably need 200x200 already. |

The icon needs to be built into the executable as a resource. Windows will pick it up and display in the Start menu and other places. It will pick the right resolution out of those available in the .ico resource embedded into the executable. I think something is wrong with the icon that's embedded into far.exe. |

it happened after the most recent update to Windows 10 (19045.3693). Maybe Windows is now handling icons in a somewhat different way. |
