| Summary | 0004100: Opening a file by pressing "enter" is dumping few debug lines destroying UI | ||||
| Description | Hello, e.g. when pressing "enter" on an PDF file to let it opened by associated program (like Edge in my case) following lines will be dumped on screen: D_Lib: debug printing for files [.*] and level [100] is turned on D_Lib: debug printing for files [.*] and level [200] is turned on D_Lib: debug printing for files [.*] and level [300] is turned on 43268:.../engine/vf_shex/vf_shex.cpp(123): INFO: DllCanUnloadNow returned S_OK. 43268:.../Common_CPP/vf_ipc_bridge/vf_ipc_mon_proxy.cpp(45): INFO : Ipcmon initialized I can't say since when... few weeks maybe. Nothing was changed from my end on Far Manager installation or PlugIns. Maybe I was pressing a hidden key-combination. I don't know. This is anoying. I was already trying to find something with google, but I failed. Thx 4 any hints! | ||||

Please see https://github.com/FarGroup/FarManager/issues/495 for the technical explanation. "vf_shex/vf_shex.cpp" suggests that it's "CyberArk Viewfinity Shell Extension", whatever that is. Googling "vf_shex" shows that: - it is some cyberark stuff indeed - you're not the only one having this issue - it has nothing to do with Far and affects any console applications (just as explained above). File a bug report to them, only they can fix it. Or perhaps just uninstall and, if you paid for that thing, get a refund. If they don't even know how to write logs, there are likely much worse bugs lurking around. |
